For companies

KSCP work in Partnership with local companies to bring benefits to the environment.

Improvements to company grounds for wildlife

A good example of this is at Givaudan in Ashford. In 2005 an arable field which the company owned was transformed into a wildflower meadow. Two ponds were also created. Since then barn owl boxes have been erected, river habitat works carried out, paths constructed, trees and hedges planted with one hedge laid etc. Local schools and community groups have been welcomed onto the site and interpretation panels and a leaflet have been produced. All leading to the company winning more than one prize for its environmental achievements. Neil Vincer, Environmental and Safety Manager at Givaudan says ‘everyone is commenting on how good the new laid hedge is, a truly excellent job’.

Team building

KSCP can offer tailored team building days at minimal cost, carrying out conservation work and other activities. Small numbers of company staff are also welcome on the regular KSCP volunteer days.
