A walk was organised in King’s Wood to visit art installations created by 2nd year Fine Art students from University for the Creative Arts. The theme was “Suspension” and was a collaboration with Stour Valley Creative Partnership. It was a great day!
SVCP work with UCA to give their students an opportunity to create work for a public space that is inspired by or is given context by the forest environment.
It challenges students creatively and professionally in many ways.
The work is only temporarily installed but nevertheless attracts a different audience and visitor to the woods. Many of the artists go on to take their projects further in King’s Wood and other locations.
