The KCC Highways ( Schemes Planning & Delivery Team) joined the Ashford Volunteer Team in coppicing and clearing a strip of woodland, next to one of the King’s Wood sculptures ( ‘Via Lucem Continens’  by Lukasz Skapski). One of these avenues had been coppiced a couple of years ago; this work helped balance it and show better the yew trees making up this sculpture.

On a bright , but cold crisp winters’ day( including a brief spell of snow!) everyone got stuck in & did a fantastic job!
