Dragon Fly Damselfly training Course

Some of ‘Our Stour’ river wardens attended a training course on dragonflies and damselflies.

After a presentation inside, a walk along the Great Stour Way followed . The wardens found 7 different species including black tailed skimmer and four spotted chaser. On the afternoon walk they also found an exuvia (empty case left over from hatching) and a friendly lizard! Thank you to John and Gill Brooks, county recorders of dragonflies in Kent, for providing the training for everyone!
