King’s Wood artworks

King’s Wood staged an exhibition of temporary artworks created by 2nd Year Fine Art students studying at the University for the Creative Arts, Canterbury.

The work reflected the diversity of ideas and concepts that students explored, after visiting the woods and spending time there.

This is the third year of collaboration between UCA Canterbury and Stour Valley Creative Partnership – engaging students and offering them the opportunity to work, experience and exhibit in this wonderful Forestry Commission woodland and public space.

Guests enjoyed a lovely, if not slightly chilly, walk around the woods, visiting the artworks which were installed along the route or in the Forest Studio – where we stopped for well-deserved refreshments.

The woods added their own splash of colour as the bluebells were in bloom.
