Health and Safety

There will always be at least one qualified first aider on the work task and volunteers are covered by insurance. Safe and responsible use of tools is always emphasised by the group leader who will also be able to instruct volunteers on the day. If you have any particular medical conditions, or are on medication, please let the group leader know.

As part of the Kent County Council Health and Safety Framework, volunteers are strictly forbidden from consuming alcohol or drugs (except for medical purposes) while on task.

Volunteers should also ensure that their tetanus immunisation is up to date.
