ENVIRONMENTAL ARTS

  Art-Eco

Working with Stour Valley Arts a series of environmental art workshops have taken place both in the classroom and in the forest. A disadvantaged school, in Ramsgate has been chosen to take part in the pilot scheme, which if successful could be repeated all over the country. KSCP has been involved with the children, introducing them to the forest at King’s Wood. Many of the children have never visited a forest before.

  Basket damage

Sad news that vandals set fire to one of the huge chestnut woven baskets on the sculpture trail and the structure has had to be removed. It is hoped that the artist Giuliano Mauri will be able to come and replace the piece.
