ACCESS

  New bridges in Clowes Wood

Volunteers from KSCP have been building bridges in Clowes Wood, near Tyler Hill as part of general access improvement works in the wood in partnership with Forest Enterprise and Kent County Council. With other works to open up Public Rights of Way and create more attractive routes, a visit to Clowes Wood in the future should be even more enjoyable.

  Crab and Winkle Way

The KSCP commissioned a report on the signage of this popular route in April as it has been aware for sometime that signage, particularly in the towns of Whitstable and Canterbury is poor. It is hoped that Canterbury City Council will see the importance of the route and develop adequate signage including using the Crab and Winkle Way logo.
