  Beavers Autumn Challenge

1st Great Chart Beavers rose to the challenge of creating 3 large scale collages, their artwork had an autumnal theme and showed a range of creatures living locally in the air, on land and in water. As well as collecting lots of natural materials like autumn leaves, grasses and acorns the beavers created a range of drawing to decorate the pieces. The collages will decorate their hall and also be a feature on the Ashford Green Corridor Virtual Visitor Centre as a community exhibition along with several others from local community groups. Rosemary Hoare, Ashford Green Corridor Officer said ‘ we would very much like groups to contribute to the website and are able to provide ideas, time and advice in helping groups to make contributions’. She added ‘the website also has lots of local information including an interactive map, local leaflets and background information about the Green Corridor’.
