CRAB & WINKLE WAY LEAFLET
The Crab & Winkle Way is a seven-mile cycle and
walking route between Canterbury and Whitstable following part of the old
railway line. It is part of route one of the National Cycle Network.
The award winning route was developed and established by
a working partnership between Canterbury City Council, Kent County
Council, Kentish Stour Countryside Project, Spokes and Sustrans along with
the help and permission of a number of local organisations and landowners.
An updated re-print of the Crab & Winkle Way leaflet
is now available.
The leaflet, which was written, designed and produced by
local people shows a map of the ‘Way’ and provides information both
past and present on the popular and historic route.
The leaflet is available from Visitor Information
Centres and local libraries or, contact us
for a copy.
