Hedgerow Planting and Restoration Grant.
A one off grant for native, mixed species hedgerows, covering between 20 -80%
of costs up to £1,500.
Meadow Creation and Restoration Grant.
Works
the same way for species rich meadows. Larger schemes may qualify for
Countryside Stewardship.
Pond Creation and Restoration Grant.
Ponds must have a surface area of at least 10 m2, and no deeper than
1.5m. Grants are for wildlife ponds only. No fish should be stocked, as they
tend to predate other fauna such as newts.
