In the heart of rural Kent, Evegate has
many footpaths and tracks around its land. The land is fantastic farmland
habitat with key features such as margins which encourage birds like
linnets and skylarks. Hedgerows have also been encouraged which provides
habitat for birds such as yellowhammers and Corn Bunting.
Woodland tracks lead on past the lakes,
where you will see a great variety of wildfowl. Perhaps, if you are alert,
you might spot a kingfisher darting up the stream.
