Charles Pajak is a traditional hazel coppice craftsman working in the Kent Downs. He uses traditional tools to make a variety of coppice products including wattle hurdles, besom brooms, pea sticks, flower stakes, bean rods and traditional faggots for firing up ovens and chimneys and for wood burning stoves.

Ecomerchant is a builders' merchant specialising in environmentally-friendly building materials together with architectural salvage.

Our product range includes lime putty and pre-mixed lime mortars, hydraulic lime and lime washes. We sell locally produced timber products as well as insulations, breathable paints, windows, doors and skylights, and also cast-iron radiators and guttering.

We promote the use of local products from sustainable sources with an emphasis on energy saving and recycling. Our products are specially selected to minimise their impact on the environment. Imported products are fairly traded.

Ecomerchant is registered with SALVO and AECB and will deliver within the Stour Valley.

Heathfield and Spicer are registered with the Wessex Coppice Association and will deliver rakes within the Stour Valley.
